Our First Trip to Disney!

The Alsup Family ventured to Walt Disney World in Orlando. We had an amazing time. Wesley didn't know what to think because the novelty was riding on an airplane and then riding on a bus to the resort and then we rode the bus to the park.

We visited Magic Kingdom and got rained on. We bought ponchos and pressed on. Wesley did not know what to think until he got on his first ride. His eyes were as big as saucers. He loved it. He was ready for more. We started our day with breakfast with Pooh and Friends. Wesley didn't like any of the characters except Piglet. Wes showed his true colors, he was a piece of work and not friendly to anyone. He warmed up and finally took a picture with the characters but only smiled in the picture with Piglet. Molly loved all the characters. She laughed and giggled at them all. She is to niave to be afraid.

Day 2 was more Magic Kingdom and on to Epcot. We loved Epcot so much that we went 4 more times. Wes and even Molly loved the Nemo ride. We rode it alot. Wesley rode the cars at Magic Kingdom, those were neat because he could steer it himself and he just cracked up. He was laughing so hard that he couldn't drive the car straight.

Day 3 was Epcot and Animal Kingdom. We rode the Safari ride, that was fun, Molly was able to ride that as well. I don't think Animal Kingdom was a real favorite. We were back at Epcot and ventured through the countries and bought some wine and ate some great German food.
Day 4 - Epcot what a shock and Hollywood Studios. We were really limited in what we could do because Wesley didn't like all of the roller coasters and Molly won't sit still long enough to sit through a show. We still had fun and rode rides in shifts.
In the middle of some of this we went to Down Town Disney and saw the site. There was a really cool Lego Store, a year round Christmas Store, Ghirardelli Store and so much more.

We stayed at the Old Key West Resort in a Studio Apartment. Molly slept in the playpen in the bathroom, because she needs silence to sleep. We would put Wesley down and go sit on the balcony and swill wine for a few hours. It was relaxing and so much fun. It did get freezing cold for a couple of days. We had the kids dressed in pajamas and their clothes over and molly was wearing two jackets and bundled in blankets. We spent more money on ponchos for the rain, and sweat shirts to stay warm.

That is Disney in a nut shell. We hadn't even been home 4 hours when Wayne was online scouting out our next trip.

We leave on December 20 - 26 for Christmas at Disney. We will be there over Wesley's birthday which we thought would be really cool.
